Scope Industries Berhad (“Scope”) was
incorporated in Malaysia on 2 September 2002 under the Companies
Act, 1965 as a public limited company under its present name. Scope
is principally an investment holding company with three (3)
wholly-owned subsidiaries, namely Scope Manufacturers (M) Sdn Bhd (“SMSB”),
Trans Industry Sdn Bhd (“TISB”) and Scope Sales & Services Sdn Bhd
(“SSSB”) .Besides that, Scope has a 33% interest in associate
company namely Paramit Scope Sdn. Bhd. (“PSSB”) and 46.795% interest
in associate company namely Dien Quang-Scope Joint Stock Company (“DQS”)
via SSSB..

Today with more than 550
employees within a 65,000 sq ft-plant on prime industrial land in Parit
Buntar, Malaysia, SCOPE has become one of the largest local-based PCBA
companies serving reputable OEM and multinational companies including
Yamaha Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd, TC
(Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Fullhouse Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd and other local
electronics companies.
Founded by James Lim in
1991, SCOPE originally started its operation
from a shop lot with very small-scale capacity. Although the operation
faced various constraints, including limited financial resources,
workspace and a competitive market, Mr. James Lim never gave up hope.
Instead he continued to work towards his dream of success. He believed
in the simple concept of "making your customer successful and
satisfied is the key to our own success and satisfaction"; with
that, he channeled all his efforts and dedication into his vision for
success. Through time and experience, Mr. James Lim saw that sound
business ethics and good quality products must be incorporated into
working policies to ensure the company's culture of success. These
factors provided the company with the necessary foundation to enjoy even
greater success in the years to come.
Today, under the same guiding principles and a team of
professional staff, SCOPE is now one of the largest local-based
companies in Malaysia specializing in PCBA. Operations have expanded
into completed electronics product assembly for reputable OEM and
multinational companies. Our current direction is towards a successful
one-stop solutions provider for OEM and multinational companies with
services encompassing the pre-production stage to completed products.
Strategically located in the Parit Buntar Industrial Area, SCOPE is in close proximity to Penang, the Silicon
Island of the East. Our strategic location is an important factor in
enabling SCOPE to stay ahead in a rapidly expanding industry.
