At the core, SCOPE's business is the strong emphasis laid down for its Research and Development Team, which centres on optimal utilization of technology and resources as well as manufacturing efficiency. This two-fold formula has enabled SCOPE to keep its competitive edge under any market condition, while keeping its focus on total customer satisfaction.

SCOPE's consistent dedication to high quality products, prompt delivery commitment in spite of short lead times and proactive customer relationships ensures its continual success. Its success, coupled with the advancement of the electronics industry around the world and Southeast Asia, enabled SCOPE to start its major expansion plans, and by 1995, SCOPE had successfully installed its very first Auto Insertion machines on its expanded premises measuring 6,000 square feet.

Within three years, production area had more than tripled to meet growing demands. The year 1999 marked the completion of our current plant of 65,000 square feet, fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, as well as the start of our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) process. Implementation of new lead-free production lines began in early 2003.

Our success is the result of the joint-efforts of our innovative and quality-focused engineering team, whose expertise range from design to debugging, and the dedication of the rest of our staff. Our personnel are constantly exposed to year-round training sessions in all areas, including Management Training, Quality Management Training, Safety and Health Training, etc. SCOPE successfully achieved the ISO 9001:2000 (Quality Management System) Certification in the year 2001.

The year 2003 holds special significance for SCOPE as the company celebrated its transition from a humble operation to a main player in the industry. SCOPE became a public listed company on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) in October 2003. This achievement is made possible after more than a decade of management commitment, employee dedication, ethical business practices and the faithful support of our loyal customers. With this major achievement, SCOPE pledges to continue to strive for excellence, and to uphold the confidence of its investors.
